Kiki Can by Susie Jaramillo

The chicks from the Cánticos series are just the cutest! My family got to know them during the pandemic when they sang bilingual songs on Nickelodeon. We have read their books in the past (two were reviewed back in April) and I was so excited when Encantos sent us a copy of Kiki Can!

From the Emmy-nominated, award-winning bilingual preschool series Canticos, comes Kiki Can!, a part of the Canticos Bilingual Firsts collection.

Follow Kiki’s journey to fly and get inspired by her “yes, I can” attitude! Learn about the power of words to instill grit and resilience in your little chickies, in both English and Spanish. Complete with beautiful illustrations, this book is a great way to make learning with your little chickie special and unique in not one, but two languages.

6″ x 6″ board book format perfect for little readers.
• English and Spanish on opposite pages.
• Interactive lift-the-flap.
• “This book belongs to” page to personalize with a child’s name
.

This bilingual story is one of never giving up, even when those around you say you can’t do it! The illustrations are bright and beautiful and offer peekaboo flaps on most of the pages for a more interactive read.

My 4yo son has loved this book ever since it arrived. He asks me at least 7 times a day to read it. He is trying to learn how to read and loves to find the peekaboo pictures first. My 7yo daughter has been trying to teach herself Spanish, so this could not have arrived at a more perfect time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from this whole family!

Thank you to the publisher for sending us a copy of Kiki Can! My son can’t put it down and all opinions are our own!
